Tonight we learned that our dear friend, Robert Paton, passed away just after midnight. He fought two year battle with melanoma and leaves behind a beautiful wife, Amanda, and an adorable son, Lucas (2). Robert was 31.

Times like this are hard to understand. We can rejoice knowing the Robert made peace with his life and is in heaven pain free.

My heart, prayers and love goes out to Amanda and Lucas and the rest of the family....some of the greatest, kindest people I will ever know. I love you dearly-

A busy July ahead...

Looking at my calendar tonight I realized just how busy July will be. The Blessed be the Name show begins July 8. I am very excited to see the new Fall line and the new catalogs look amazing. Ashley Eiler and her team are doing a fantastic job in Birmingham and it has been fun to watch them grow. I also have some trunk shows of my new fave jewelry line Stella & Dot. I have been very impressed with this company and feel lucky to have gotten involved at this point. throw in July 4 at the lake, a week at the beach, and Sarah Grace's debut as a flower girl in Sarah and David's wedding, and summer camps and..TA-DA! Month over.

It may seem overwhelming but it is filled with things that I love to do...so I am sure it will go by quickly and I will enjoy each moment. Tomorrow begins a new day of preparation, as well as another Stella & Dot trunk show. I guess as long as I am excited about it, it won't feel like work.

So, hopefully I can retire for the evening soon and rise early - much to do and organize.
